The combination pink/black is something I normally won’t go for. That and animal prints. But I fell head over heels for this particular little beauty, and for half a year I yearned. And suddenly Figleaves put it on sale and lowered it from £57 to £34.20, which was a lot more in my budget. I ordered it in the size I usually buy when it’s a brand I never tried (28FF). Wrong.
Band: is black mesh and quite tight for a 28. The front is blush pink silk, that would easily pass for nude for my pale skin, and covered with black lace. There’s two sets of hooks and eyes.
Cups: are constructed I three parts of mesh covered in eyelash lace. They are quite shallow.
Details: There’s three small bows: one of the gore and one on each top of the cups. Shoulder bands are covered in black silk and their details are golden metal.
Fit: This is a bra that fits me as far as the band is concerned, because it is quite tight, but I still wear it on the tightest set of hooks. The cups, however, are too small, which shows in the slight quad-boob, especially on my larger breast, and the side view is somewhat edged (unfortunately not very visible in this picture). This doesn’t show through a looser type of blouse though. I can just fit my index finger between the gore and sternum, so it’s not the best fit I could wish for, but over all ok.
Conclusion: I should have bought this in 28G, but it had already sold out on sale, and my economy couldn’t pay full price. It works, and that’s enough for me, since it is so very beautiful, with quality materials and considered the amount of work put into it, because it is very well made. E.g. that the seems hit exactly over the nipples, but I don’t even feel them.
